School Terms and Breaks

First Term: September to December.
Second Term: January to April.
Third Term: April to July.
Term Breaks: Short breaks are scheduled between each term.
Long Holiday: A longer break follows the third term, typically several weeks long.

Children's Day: (May 27th) A day specifically dedicated to celebrating childhood, with special activities often organized for primary and secondary school students.
Democracy Day: (June 12th) A public holiday commemorating the restoration of democracy in Nigeria.
Independence Day: (October 1st) Celebrates Nigeria's independence from British rule.
Christmas Day: A Christian holiday commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ.
Good Friday: A Christian holiday commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus.
Easter Monday: A Christian holiday following Easter Sunday.
